About Peggy Sue BBQ

Though we just opened for business in 1989, we would like to think that we carry on a fondly remembered tradition of barbeque in this location. For over forty years this was Howard and Peggy’s, then Peggy’s Beef Bar, before closing in the late 1980s. You can still see the original menu over the windows in the dining room to the right, as well as other decor items from the old restaurant. While we have certainly updated the menu, we do hope that we have kept the look of the place stuck firmly in the 1950s!

We are proud of the meats we smoke and the vegetables we prepare daily for you. You will notice that our sliced beef on our plated full meal is always and only cut from the totally lean flat portion of the brisket, with all excess fat removed.
No less attention is paid to the baby back and pork spare ribs. They are hand trimmed, stripped of sinew, and dry rubbed before smoking. Our poultry is the best:  We use only large, three pound, fresh chicken, and natural breast of turkey.

Few places offer you such a refreshing and extensive choice of tasty, lightly steamed vegetables.  Many a vegetarian has dined with pleasure at Peggy Sue BBQ.

Specials

Try our new jalapeno cheese brisket or smoked chicken wrap.  They are stuffed with grilled onion and pepper, lightly spread with ranch dressing, and served with your choice of one side vegetable.  The wrap is just one of a number of creative and reasonably priced offerings not part of the regular menu.

The Corner Club

Adjacent to our center dining room is the cosy Corner Club.  A great place to socialize at happy hour, it is also available for seated private parties up to 25 people or up to 35 people for mix and mingle cocktail parties.  We can provide you with the appropriate menu to complement your event.Peggy_Sue_Map.htmlshapeimage_2_link_0
